Mountain States Contracting has openings for Track Workers and Roadway Maintenance Machine Operators. Track workers and equipment operators work as members of a gang to build, repair, and rebuild railroad track, and must follow MSC safety policies and programs, as well as State and Federal Regulations. These positions require extensive travel throughout the Western USA. Travel is compensated, but must have own vehicle. Tasks include track construction, installation of rails, ties switches, and other track materials, using tools and equipment, maintenance and repair of equipment, and other duties as assigned. Positions require frequent walking on uneven surfaces; standing extended periods of time; lift/carry and push/pull equipment and other objects weighing up to 75 lbs; bending, stooping and kneeling.
Mountain States Contracting has a full time position open for an equipment mechanic. This position requires a CDL, and involves extensive travel throughout the Western US. (railroad experience preferred)

High School Diploma or GED, 3 years related work experience. Must have valid driver's license, CDL a plus. Must have basic computer skills.
